Directions
Ingredients:
-1 Wagyu rump roast (can use Wagyu chuck or arm roast)
-Homemade Wagyu beef broth
-Packet of Italian Beef Au Jus seasoning
-Onions
-Mushrooms
-Sliced Hoagie Buns (use bread or buns of your choice)
-Sliced Provolone Cheese or Swiss Cheese (depends on the flavor you like)
Instructions:
*Place the Wagyu roast into the crockpot.
*Sprinkle the seasoning mix onto the beef roast.
*Pour the beef broth over the roast.
*Add water if your beef broth has a jelly like consistency. Approximately 32 ounces of water/broth.
*Add sliced onions and mushrooms.
*Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until beef is fork tender.
After cooking, remove roast, onions, and mushrooms and strain broth into separate bowls.
Pull roast apart with a fork.
Place strained broth in small bowls. One bowl for each person.
Place onions and mushrooms in a separate bowl.
Sandwiches
Place sliced beef on buns and top with onions, mushrooms, and top with cheese.
Serve sandwiches with au jus sauce.
**Tip
Heat oven to 400 degrees
Wrap completed sandwiches with aluminum foil.
Place in wrapped sandwiches in the oven for 10 minutes.
Remove and serve.
